Unlike any other circuit, Bedford Autodrome was specifically designed to run the PalmerSport driving event. Out on track you will find acres of run-off so if you do spin – and if you’re trying hard then it is almost inevitable – there is nothing for you to hit. 

With the exception of our Formula Jaguar single-seater, every car has dual pedal controls, enabling our highly-skilled instructors to take control if necessary. An intercom system between each instructor and driver further improves safety by allowing clear communication at all times, and our instructors will always have an eye on the mirrors. 

Our accident record is outstanding; we have not had a serious incident in many years. However, we take the possibility of accidents very seriously and Bedford Autodrome has excellent medical facilities on-site. 

Every day, each car is rigorously checked and re-prepared in our workshops. PalmerSport’s technicians follow strictly enforced maintenance programmes to ensure that every car is in perfect condition for the following day.
