Our magnificent Palmer Jaguar JP1s are two seater, mid-engined sports prototype racers using slicks, wings and full body aerodynamics as well as near-instantaneous paddle shift gearboxes. Its mighty power comes from a howling 3 litre V6 engine supplied to us by Jaguar, Britain's most successful creator of sports racing cars and seven times winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Indeed perhaps the biggest difference between a JP1 and an actual Le Mans competitor is that our car comes as standard with the single biggest performance booster we know: a PalmerSport instructor in the passenger seat. Their job is to take you into a world beyond the capabilities of conventional road cars, where g-forces pound your body and speeds startle your senses. Then, when it is all over, you'll be handed the film footage of your run, a permanent record of your time in the most incredible two seater on this side of the channel.
